Leadership & team
Female founders (and mom-daughter duo), Julie Weber Ugarte and Madeline Dunne, brought together their combined 30+ years of experience in healthcare-sector strategy, marketing, and user experience design to found EnticEdge in 2019.
The EnticEdge team is made up of strategists, information design specialists, engineers, subject matter experts, and wellness business consultants.
Our story
Julie, with more than twenty-five years of healthcare business consulting experience, holds an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. Her studies were enriched by specialized programs in technology innovation at Tel Aviv University (tech product development) and TechVenture India, focusing on blockchain for immunization and food distribution. Meanwhile, Madeline was focused on user-centered design, leveraging an honors English degree from Cornell University and later enhancing her credentials with an M.S. in Information Strategy and Design from Northwestern University. Together, they harnessed the synergies between strong strategic guidance, marketing strategies, and effective user experience design, by uniting their extensive knowledge and skills in 2019 to form EnticEdge, a company dedicated to integrating actionable strategies and innovative design to drive market growth for healthcare companies nationwide.

With two decades of experience in strategic visioning, implementation, and quantified results with companies of all sizes & stages, Julie was working as a management consultant specializing in growth strategies and U.S. market entry. A forever learner, she went back to earn her MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
At the same time, Madeline was completing her honors bachelor's degree in English at Cornell University and working as the Marketing & Operations Lead for the Engineering App Dev team. She went on to offer marketing and design to startups, before leaning into freelance web and user experience design.
But Madeline wasn't the only one interested in new technologies, Julie's work and continued studies focus on her own passions in technology and innovation.
Realizing the opportunity that existed when companies could marry a strong user experience with a strong marketing strategy, Madeline went on to complete her Master's in Science in Information Strategy and Design at Northwestern University to focus on the importance of user-centered design as part of cutting-edge marketing technique, and applies those learnings today to her patient journey improvement expertise.
After Julie and Madeline joined forces to launch EnticEdge and serve mission-driven healthcare companies, the team has grown to include specialty care subject matter experts and strategists, designers, copywriters, and engineers.
